Lately I've been stuck on following blogs written by much more talented and experienced sewists than I. I've been reading up on pattern fitting and adjusting, fabrics and choosing the right types, inserting zippers - the last two were disatrous (wah) - and drooling over their new pretty dresses, shorts, blouses, etc.
I ordered some new patterns and some new fabric from Fabric.com - it was my first time ordering from them. I'm thinking I should move into knits and jerseys and try making some of those kinds of dresses. I wasn't crazy about the last two that I made and that's why there aren't any photos of them.
Well, just wanted to update the blog. Pretty soon, I will start linking to other sites and hopefully adding more dresses to my wardrobe. I did buy a cute peplum top and I want to make a couple of skirts to wear with it. I wish I had more time to sew too but it seems that there is not enough time in the day!
